My Story

Starting in 2017 in a Tasmanian paddock, whilst nourishing the crew of music festival 'Party in the Paddock', the seed of Mumma Shaz was planted. Watching as the crew devoured spoonfuls of my home made Kasundi, their compliments and cries for more inspired me to relocate to Tasmania.
In 2022, after grounding myself in the Northern region of this beautiful island of Tasmania, surrounded by community, with nothing but a pot, wooden spoon and the kitchen of a Launceston nightclub, I started my next life adventure. Using only the best quality, locally sourced Tasmanian and Australian ingredients, small batch and handmade, you will find no preservatives in any of my products. Just long, slow cooks, the way it used to be. This style of cooking allows the release of nutrients and intensifies the flavours of every jar of Mumma Shaz's Kasundi, Tomato Sauce, Chilli Oil and Apple and Pepperberry Jelly.



My Tassie adventure has led me to selling at local farmers markets, being stocked on local shelves and winning Tasmanian awards. Making it easier to add a little Mumma Shaz to your creations and community. With love from Tasmania.
